An ascending staircase beside a stack of books — the Project 80 ethos of compounding growth

The Founder

A 30-point transformation, distilled into a system anyone can run.

Project 80 began with a single failed GAMSAT attempt. An overall score in the low 50s, a Section 3 in the 40s, and the belief — common among first-time sitters — that medicine might not be possible.

Eighteen months later, after rebuilding study from first principles, that same student walked out of a sitting with a Section 2 of 92, a Section 3 of 80, and an overall score above the 95th percentile. No tutor. No bootcamp. Just a system.

Project 80 is that system, taught the way it should have been taught the first time.

My Results

These are my scores.

Two official ACER Statements of Results, twelve months apart. These are my personal GAMSAT results — untouched except for redacting my name, date of birth and ID. I share them so you know the person behind Project 80 has done exactly what you are trying to do.

The Problem

Why students fail the GAMSAT.

01

Passive studying

Re-reading notes and watching videos feels productive. It almost never moves your score.

02

Content overload

Hoarding resources without a system. More PDFs do not produce more points.

03

No Section 1 strategy

Treating S1 as 'just reading'. The top decile is built on a repeatable approach.

04

Weak Section 2 frameworks

Writing without a structural template. Markers reward clarity, not creativity alone.

05

Memorisation over understanding

S3 punishes recall. It rewards reasoning chains you can construct under pressure.

The Project 80 Method

Four pillars. One result.

I

Strategy

Diagnose your weaknesses honestly. Build a plan that targets points, not topics.

II

Systems

Repeatable daily protocols for reading, writing and reasoning that compound weekly.

III

Practice

Deliberate, timed, reviewed. Every paper is a feedback loop, not a vanity metric.

IV

Reflection

Structured post-mortems after every session. This is where the 80+ is actually built.

Student Testimonials

"I went from a 58 overall to a 76 in one sitting. The Section 2 frameworks alone were worth the entire course."
